Auguste Escoffier (28October 1846 – 12 February 1935), modernized classical French cooking in the early 20th Century. He worked with César Ritz to modernize and open many of the well-known hotels and restaurants of the day, from the Savoy in London to the Hôtel Ritz Paris.
VINTAGE - VERY GOOD CONDITION. This is the 1989 American Edition, minus it's dust cover, beautifully embossed on the spine and on the front cover.
