[FROM BOOKLADY COOKS] My first Duck and Decanter Lunch was in 1975. I wasn’t old enough to drive, but my friends were! There was no freeway bisecting the city -- just a beautiful lawn, a lake and lots of ducks. We may have accidentally missed our after lunch class, but we had a glorious picnic by the lake.
The lawn and the lake are gone, but there is a patio, and now I'm old enough for a glass of wine with my sandwiche! The Duckling for me, please!
