The Assistance League collected recipes from members, friends and supporters to raise funds for its charities. This book has a lot of fun recipes and photographs to help you get in the cooking mood. We love that each color plate references a song from bygone days. A picture of Jam has the quote "It must be Jelly 'cause Jam Don't Shake Like That - " from 1942.
