When Professor Bazore arrived in Honolulu to teach at the University of Hawaii at Honolulu, she took it and fell in love with the place, the people and the food. As a professor of home economics, she spent years researching and learning about the culinary traditions of her new home and shared it in several books. This one, is in very good condition and has chapters on the diverse cultures that have shaped the culinary history of these islands. 

The book contains stories, histories, menus (which we love here at Booklady Cooks) and recipes.
